Prosecto Insectivorous is a year-round soft food

It's for wild birds that feed on insects, worms, and other invertebrates.

Prosecto Insectivorous is a unique soft food developed in association with avian experts for insectivorous birds and is an invaluable supplement to many seed-eating birds' diets.

We worked closely with zoo nutrition professionals via an avian bird diet scholarship and uncovered ways to further improve our supreme bird diet, Prosecto Insectivorous and we’re pleased to announce it’s now available online to people who feed garden birds.

Note: The term 'insectivorous' refers to the species of bird whose diet consists primarily of eating invertebrates and soft foods. EG: Prosecto for Insectivorous birds. The invertebrates included in this diet are molluscs and crustaceans.

The young blackbirds enjoy it so it must be good .also given to some parent reared kalij pheasants.

Thank you for the review. We would love to see a picture of your Kalij pheasants if you get the chance.

"i bought this for ground feeding , but the birds throw it around , selectively eat the larger pieces and spread the small bits across the ground. It clogs if i use it in the bird feeder. i will not be repeating iy, i am sticking with the sunflower hearts ( husked) and the fat balls , which are both excellent."

Prosecto Insectivorous Review

"I bought a 500gm bag of this to try it, as my birds seem to be very particular about the food they eat. The blackbirds completely ignored the food, preferring the golden raisins above everything else and the robin still prefers to hoover up the small bits of peanut butter that the starlings and bluetits drop from the hanging feeder. I'll keep putting a small amount of the mix under the feeders to see if the dunnocks or chaffinches eat it but it hasn't been a success so far."

Prosecto Insect Food - Fabulous

"I got this just before the cold weather hit and put it out. At first they ignored it but now I have to put out several small piles round the garden as the blackbirds will fight over it. The thrush dunnocks and robin get a look in as well. I think if you buy several kinds of food you will find it is more like a natural diet for your birds."
