About us and these terms

These terms apply to consumer orders placed through haiths.com. The seller is John E. Haith Limited, registered in England and Wales under company number 698173. Our address is The Bird Food Centre, Bolingbroke Road, Fairfield Industrial Estate, Louth, Lincolnshire, LN11 0WA. You can contact us at enquiries@haiths.com or 0800 298 7054.

Separate arrangements may apply to trade customers. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory consumer rights.

Placing an order

When you submit an order, we will send an acknowledgement using the contact details you provide. Please check the details and tell us promptly if anything is wrong. We may contact you if there is a problem with availability, payment, delivery or an error in the product information or price.

If we cannot fulfil an order, we will discuss an appropriate alternative with you or refund any payment taken for goods we cannot supply. Placing an item in a basket does not reserve its availability or price.

Prices, promotions and payment

The product prices, delivery charges and payment methods shown at checkout apply to your order. If we discover a clear pricing or description error before fulfilling an order, we will tell you and give you the choice of proceeding on the corrected terms or cancelling for a refund.

Promotional codes are subject to the conditions stated with the offer, including any expiry, eligibility and product restrictions. We may decline a code that does not meet those conditions.

Online payments are processed through our ecommerce checkout and its payment providers. Haith’s does not store your complete credit or debit card details.

Products and availability

We take care to describe our products accurately. Seeds and other natural ingredients can vary in size, colour and appearance. Seasonal supply can also affect availability. We will not make a material change to an ordered product without addressing it with you appropriately.

We prepare batches of SuperClean™ bird food at our premises. The timing of despatch depends on stock and preparation. Our delivery information sets out current services and indicative timings.

Bird food should be stored and used according to its product information. Keep it away from household pets. Some bird foods contain nuts or ingredients such as raisins or sultanas that can be harmful to dogs. Seek veterinary advice promptly if your pet eats something potentially harmful.

Delivery

Available delivery areas, charges and current service information are shown on our delivery page and, where applicable, at checkout. We will provide the goods within the agreed period or as required by law. Despatch and delivery are different stages, and an estimated date is not a guaranteed arrival date unless we expressly agree otherwise.

Please contact us promptly if a parcel has not arrived, arrives damaged or contains the wrong goods. We will investigate with the delivery provider and explain the next step. Delivery instructions, including requests to leave a parcel in a particular place, should be entered accurately when ordering.

Click & Collect

Where Store Pickup is available, you can order for collection from the Haith’s Bird Food Centre in Louth without a delivery charge. Please wait for the ready-to-collect confirmation before travelling. Current hours and instructions are on our Click & Collect page.

Subscriptions

Eligible products may be offered as recurring orders. The price, delivery frequency and payment arrangements are shown when you subscribe. You can manage or cancel future deliveries using the instructions provided with your subscription or by contacting us. An order already processed may need to be dealt with under our returns arrangements. See our purchase options cancellation policy.

Returns, refunds and our guarantee

Please see our return and refund policy for Haith’s 28-day guarantee, how to report a problem and how to exercise any applicable right to cancel a distance purchase. Our guarantee is additional to your statutory rights.

Privacy

Our privacy policy explains how we use personal information, including information needed to process orders, provide customer service and arrange delivery.

Resale and intellectual property

Consumer purchases are intended for personal use. If you wish to buy for resale, repackage products or use Haith’s branding in a commercial setting, please contact us about a trade arrangement. You must not misrepresent the origin of our products or use our trademarks, images, text or other protected material without permission.

If something goes wrong

Please contact us at enquiries@haiths.com or 0800 298 7054 so we can investigate. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability that cannot be excluded under consumer law.

The laws of England and Wales apply, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.
