A QUICK SEED AND CEREAL GROUNDBAIT

ONE. ONE. ONE.

Ken Townley's simple archive recipe uses equal measures of Red Band®, oat groats and boiling water. The same rule works whether you are preparing a small test batch or scaling up.

BOILING WATER
  1. Combine the Red Band, groats and boiling water in a saucepan.
  2. Bring the mixture back to the boil.
  3. Transfer it carefully to a tightly sealed heat-safe container or suitable flask.
  4. Leave it for eight hours or overnight before use.

Hot liquids can cause serious burns. Use suitable equipment and take care when transferring and sealing the mixture.
