Quality bird diets in East Africa

The quality of bird diets is important throughout the world, regardless of the avian species involved.

Here Professor John Cooper examines food that is being used to feed local poultry in Kenya – part of his and his wife’s recent training visit to that country. Poultry outnumber humans in East Africa and are an essential source of food (eggs and meat) for most poor people.
