Haith’s Supports Local Schoolboy’s Talent: A Community Story
Share
Over the last six months, here at Haith’s, we have made it our mission to build a Family & Education section on our website, where we provide free nature resources for children and families to use.
With the success of the web section, we decided to get in contact with local schools and nurseries and invite them to enter a colouring competition with a custom-made image of our new home in Louth, created by our Social Media Champion, Charlotte Nugent.
We received an overwhelming response and were astounded by the artistic talent presented to us. One design stole our hearts, and that was the colouring page of local schoolboy, ten-year-old Seb Oliver. We were so impressed with his design, we had it printed on the front cover of our new brochure, which will be sent out to hundreds of our customers. We also got in contact with the Louth Leader and they wrote an article about our successful project, which can be read here: Seb’s impressive design for Haith's (lincolnshireworld.com)
Julianne Jessett, Haith’s Customer Champion, has emailed over 250 schools in Lincolnshire, offering Haith’s free nature resources for use in classrooms and after school clubs.
She said, “We have had a great response from schools countywide and look forward to exciting future projects. It’s a wonderful thing, working as a team and as a company to support the younger generation in developing a strong love for nature.”
Things are looking positive at Haith’s as the team continue to expand their Family & Education section. You can view our free nature education resources on our website, https://haiths.com/pages/family-education
