Megan McCubbin – a lifelong love for nature (Naturespace with Haith's podcast)

Nature and the natural world are everything to us here at Haith’s and we are passionate about how we can help the world around us.

It was our absolute pleasure to invite Megan to kickstart season two of Naturespace with Haith’s podcast.

Megan is a zoologist and wildlife presenter. Many of you will recognise her from presenting Spring & Autumnwatch but her love for nature and the natural world began as a young child. She grew up around the Isle of Wight Zoo, which specialises in the rescue and rehabilitation of ex-circus and pet trade animals.

In 2017, Megan presented Undercover Tourist: Inside the Illegal Bear Bile Market for BBC3, which began her career in television.

Megan has a deep curiosity about the environment and the wildlife within it and has recently published her new book An Atlas of Endangered Species – an eye-opening account about species that are on the brink of extinction.

Megan is also a keen wildlife photographer and is well-known for her Antarctic photography.

We invite you to listen to her podcast with us and gain an insight into Megan’s impassioned and deep affection for the natural world, something we can all learn from.
