One of our team members, Woolsey, made a last-minute trip to Berlin for the final, and the journey took a total of 16 hours!
England did well but the winning title was given to Spain this time.
The Haith’s team had fun taking part in a sweep stake.
The winners were:
1st – Andrea – Spain
2nd – Amy – England
3rd – Rachael – Netherlands
4th – George – France
Open Day
We are gearing up for our Open Day on Wednesday the 7th of August. A huge thank you to everyone involved so far. We have many exciting stalls, entertainment and speakers lined up. For the full list of attendees, read our blog, ‘Naturespace with Haith’s Open Day’.
Mindfulness with Nature
Mindfulness involves being fully present in the moment, which is beneficial for your health and wellbeing. It helps to reduce stress by keeping you focused on the present, rather than dwelling on the past or worrying about the future. Using nature as a resource can help you to become more grounded, calm, and connected.
Here are a few things you can try in your day-to-day life…
Nature Walk
Next time you take a walk outside, notice your senses. What can you see, smell and hear?
Nature Photography
Take some photos of nature either in your garden or a local green space. Focus on the textures, colours and patterns. By doing this, you have to observe closely and be in the present moment.
Star Gazing
You might not have stargazed since you were a child, but this is a fantastic activity to engage with the wonders of nature. On a clear night, look up at the stars. Notice their shine and search for constellations and patterns. Reflect on the vastness of the universe and think about your place within it…
Outdoor Reading
Take a book outside and read among nature. Whilst reading, notice the breeze on your skin and the sounds around you. You might be able to hear birdsong or the rustling of leaves in the background.
Until next month,
