Birthday present

My father was 100 last week, hard to find a present for him. He loves feeding the birds so one present was bird food with feeder
hes delighted. Excellent quality easy to open and close.

Sharp wire mesh

This feeder seems well made but on closer inspection the two vertical joins of the mesh body have sharp edges. The base where the mesh ends also has a sharp edge where the mesh has been cut. The top has a plastic shield which covers the mesh so is safer for both birds & humans - the latter when re-filling & the former when clinging on the mesh to feed. Disappointed & would not recommend
