Genesis Mix is a purpose-built mix designed to support the entire lifecycle of budgies, from juveniles to show birds. Each ingredient is chosen to promote condition, feather quality, and sustained energy without compromising digestibility.
Ingredient Highlights:
- Plain Canary Seed – A protein-rich staple that forms the foundation of many quality budgie diets.
- Mixed Millets – A dynamic millet blend for variety and essential carbohydrates.
- Linseed – A natural source of oils that promotes healthy plumage and supports digestion.
- Naked Oats – Gentle on the gut, providing fibre and slow-release energy.
- Safflower – Low in saturated fat and a beneficial addition to cardiovascular health.
- Sunflower Hearts – A powerful high-energy inclusion rich in fat, ideal for condition, warmth and moulting phases.

Hello Pauline, it is great to hear that your beautiful budgie enjoys our SuperClean UK Budgerigar Club (UKBC) Genesis Mix. Thank you for your review!
I ordered a 5kg bag of this Genesis mix and started feeding it to my budgies straight away. Wow! They have taken to this seed mix straight away and after a few days of feeding it’s now very popular amongst my 8 budgies. The seed is super clean and looks of a higher quality of seed than most other brands I have had in the past so super happy it’s gone down so well with my flock. Delivery as always was 1st class. Now ordered a 20kg bag! Some pictures of happy budgies added for reference.
Thanks for your lovely review Bryan. We love hearing that your birds are happy. We love the photo's too, thank you.
This is the second time I've bought Genesis mix, my budgies absolutely love it! It is packed with all sorts of different seeds of varying sizes so it keeps them interested as they are rooting through to find their favourite bits. My birds literally are diving into the bowls before I've even got them in the cages they can't wait to tuck in. I've noticed since they've been on Haiths seed that their colours are brighter and richer and they seem more lively too. We recently adopted a budgie who had been fed Trill all his life and I was worried about transitioning him over to Haiths, I needn't have worried he hoovers it up! Honestly I'll never buy anything else now, I've tried pretty much every brand and type of seed mix and nothing has produced this reaction from my budgies. Delivery is also really good, I don't live on mainland UK and getting parcels here can be a nightmare but my orders are always here within a couple of days which for us is very unusual! Thankyou from a very happy customer with three very happy budgies!

Brilliant as always.
Hello Leanne, many thanks for your review.
Having 2 rescue budgies who are older rather than younger (7ish) i have had them 2 years, and a parrolet who is 3 i got her first at 14 weeks old, i thought i would try a mix that would suit both kinds of bird instead of buying budgie food and parrot food, the only seed the Genesis mix hasn't got which the parrotlet loves is hemp seed which i buy separately and sprinkle on food bowls, they all love the genesis mix which i introduced slowly, i didn't know that budgies could eat other seeds apart from millet (budgie food) until they were tucking into the parrot food and i wish more people knew this. They are free flying between 2 cages and window perches during the day, parrotlet roosts separately at bedtime
Hello Angela, thank you for your review. It's great to hear that your rescue budgies and parrotlet are enjoying our UK Budgerigar Club (UKBC) Genesis Mix.

Budgie has had tip top for over a year now so bought UKBC Genesis as a change - he loves it! Sunflower hearts are new to him and quite hard to crack open so I am sitting with nail clippers starting them off for him - yes, he is a spoilt little bird but as long as he is happy … i am happy!
