I got these as I saw they were a favourite with robins and blackbirds which I haven’t begun yet a few that I feed. Haven’t tried yet as I bought the suet pellets with peanuts and insects in which are going down a storm. You can tell the quality is superb. I’ll be mixing some of these berry ones in but I’m sure they’ll go down very well as everything else has. Delivery was very quick and very well packaged. Firm favourite with all my birds. Just wondered if there was an alternative to beef tallow. Not the most compassionate ingredient. Perhaps coconut oil.

The Hi-Energy Suet Pellets are certainly the birds' favourite in my garden. I've tried the nut version side by side but NO THANKS WE PREFER BERRY!

Throughout winter I've added a handful of these to the daily feed. Now we are into Spring they still get a few handfalls each week and they wait for them and they are gone in a flash so as I say they vote with their beaks!

My birds love these, and the insect suet pellets, and the huskfree Advance, and most recently, the peanut granules! I am just about to put in a new order, as this recent very cold weather has brought the birds flocking to the feeders, and I am having to refill several times a day. But what a joy it is to see them. I have 8 or 9 blackbirds at a time, bluetits, coal tits and great tits, a pair of crows, an occasional magpie, the inevitable hoovering pigeons, 2 robins, and I am hoping to see the long-tailed tits again soon. I recently saw a goldfinch - totally new visitor, up by my garage, so am hoping to see it again too. I love feeding the birds, the squirrels are pretty feisty too, but I don't mind them as long as the birds are not driven away. Good bird supplies are brilliant, thank you.

These go down well in the feeder mixed with huskfree. I put them there as otherwise the starlings eat more than their fair share.

I have several feeders with squirrel-proof cages and a ground feeding station also protected by a cage. If I try to use them in feeders, the smaller birds can't get near as the local pigeons, jackdaws etc cling onto the cage bars tying to get access. If I use the ground feeding station they last about 10 mins as a flock of starlings soon appear and devour them.
I've resorted to scattering them loose on the ground in small handfuls throughout the day to keep the bigger birds away from my feeders/ground station.

I feed these from a peanut feeder as, if I put them on the bird table, the starlings scoff the lot in no time. The starlings still eat them but will go for the suet fat balls first. This gives the sparrows, great tits and blue tits a better chance on the feeder.
