Parrots, Parakeets an Parrot-Like birds can benefit from an occasional supplement of Parrot-Like Tonic Seed which contains vitamins and minerals sadly lacking in some standard bird seed mixes.

It features, amongst others, beneficial oil seeds, giving variety and interest to maybe an otherwise repetitive and uninteresting seed diet.

Complementary feed for Cage & Aviary Birds

Composition: Cereal grains and products derived thereof, Oil seeds, oil fruits and products derived thereof, Legume seeds and products derived thereof, Other seeds and fruits and products derived thereof, Other plants, algae and products derived thereof.

Feeding Instructions: Offer up to 2 level teaspoons per bird, 2–3 times per week, in a separate feeding dish alongside their regular seed mix. If feeding for the first time, introduce gradually.

Screeches until I fill his bowl

This food is keeping my parrot healthy and lively. He's already out lived his lifespan. Not sure if its just because of the food though. He absolutely loves it

Our Gray loves this tonic seed, he dives right in and hurls it all around, picks his best bits then goes to the floor later on and has another search in case he missed any

Awesome Seed

I have a very fussy 26 year old African Grey, he won't eat any seed but this along with his fresh food. I've bought much more expensive 'African Grey' seed and pellet foods but he won't look at them. Never been ill in 26 years!

"I have a 22 year old Arican Grey who is aVERY fussy eater. I feed fresh fruit and nuts daily and he has a bowl full of Haith's Parrot Like Tonic Seed in his cage at all times and replenished once a week as well as treats and parot sticks. I worry he gets enough vitamins and minerals which is why I feed the tonic seed. I have tried just about every other fortified seed mix including expensive species specific blends only to have them igored. He LOVES this product. "

"I have an 18 year old African Grey who is very picky about food. Every day he gets fresh fruit and nuts also frequent parrot treats. Over the years I have tried many seed based supplements, some very expensive and he has barely touched them. I worry he is getting enough vitamins and minerals essential to Greys. He loves this product and he has free access to a large pot changed weekly and I don't have to worry anymore. I highly endorse this product especially for pickier feeders."

Birds Love It

"My 6 cockatiels adore this tonic mix - they refuse to eat anything but Haith's. I add it to their main seed (Haith's standard cockatiel mix), for a bit of variety and added nutrition. Like another reviewer says, it's a shame humans can't eat it too because it really does look and smell delicious! They love all the different textures and like all Haith's mixes, the seed is top quality, really shiny and fresh. There is very little waste and my birds stay in top condition on this food. Definitely five stars!"
