Softbill Food™ for Songbirds
Blackbird, Song Thrush, Robin, Wren, Dunnock
Unique high-protein soft food blended with real Bakers' Honey, healthy vegetable oils and easy-beak no grow seeds. Ideal for bird tables and soft food feeders.
Inspired by our original 1950s recipe; Softbill Food is a high-protein bird food crumble containing natural minerals and vitamins blended together with real Bakers' Honey, vegetable oils, easy-beak seeds and a rich nutritional soft food base.
Softbill Food requires no mixing and should be stored in a cool dry place.
It's the equivalent of soft and natural baby food; ideal for parents and youngsters. Robins, Wrens and Blackbirds are just a few of the ground / bird table feeding birds who will readily take to this nutritional soft bird food (hedgehogs love it too). If you want timid Wrens to tuck into this, put a small amount in a suitable container and place it in a sheltered position at the base of shrubs, then just wait.
Key Ingredients: Hempseed, High-Protein Crumbs, Ground Dried Mealworms.
Please note: Bird seed recipes may change without notice in line with crop availability, but we'll always select a suitable seed replacement.
"First it was just the Robin but soon joined by Blackbird yesterday 2 Starlings as well 2 Sparrows very nervous but today 6 sparrows joined they love Mealworm Crumble plus I put out a RSPB Dried Mealworms in some water as Robin finds they are too hard not like your crumble which is soft. If he gets a look in with Blackbird gorging so fast. Thankyou for the fun you are giving me in lockdown with being at home for a year I’m not bored or lonely. Grateful for the 10% off sometimes."
"The birds are so reluctant to eat this. I throw away more than they eat. Really is not their favourite. Most disappointed!"
"i would say this the best soft food mix for my garden birds my birds love it only bought a small bag but now need to buy a bigger one "
"The Starlings are queuing on the telegraph wires every morning for it to be put on the bird table, and they love it. They eat this before any other food apart from bacon rind!"
"A little goes a long way with this food. Blackbirds and robins enjoy it, but the hedgehogs absolutely love it!"
