This Sunflower Heart bird feeder is one of our favourites as it looks good but works better.

A good mid-range, all metal feeder. We like the fact that birds are able to cling to the mesh and feed from all parts of the tube.

It features a removable base for easy cleaning and can also be used for peanuts and suet pellets.

Not recommended for use with Sunflower Heart Chips.

Since buying and siting my Sunflower feeder there has been a huge increase in footfall (or rather Clawfall) in the garden. Our feeder now reminds me of a fast food outlet on the Motorway ! Ceaseless array of birds passing through. May need to remortgage the house as getting through an amazing amount of seeds these days ! A great bit of kit. Even better as the pesky Squirrels can’t get on with this model. Highly recommend…

Sunflower Hearts Feeder

Best feeder ever for sunflower hearts - prevents bigger birds
from taking everything and stops pigeons from flying up and knocking food out to the ground.
I have got 2 of these now and am well pleased with them - greenfinches, goldfinches and the tit family stay around longer which is lovely to watch.

Best sunflower feeder for goldfinches

"THIS FEEDER IS BY FAR THE MOST PREFERRED BY THE GOLDFINCHES (FROM ONE PAIR THEY HAVE MULTIPLIED UP TO 18 FINCHES OVER 3 YEARS AND STAY ALL YEAR ROUND) THAT VISIT MY SMALL ROOF TERRACE. I CAN SEE IT IS MOST NATURAL FOR THEM TO CLING ON TO THESE FEEDERS AND PULL THE SEEDS OUT. (ALSO PIGEONS DON'T TRY TO GET ON THEM.) SUNFLOWER HEARTS MIXED WITH A FEW BLACK ONES IS THEIR FAVOURITE AND THEY WILL NOT TOUCH NIGER SEED."
