Award-winning, British-designed squirrel resistant bird feeder.

The award-winning British-designed Nuttery seed bird feeder and the protective cage has been a favourite with the bird feeding public for many years. Its simple, yet effective, birdcage design kindly lets small birds slip easily between the bars to feed while squirrels are denied access! Tough polycarbonate tube protected by a metal cage. Small birds get in – squirrels and larger birds (like pigeons) can’t.

Dimensions: H: 350mm, capacity: 1 litre.

Unsatisfactory quality

Rusted within 6 months of use, company gone into liquidation so 10yr guarantee useless and can’t open it to clean it.
Old one was brilliant, this one is very inferior. Not worth the money

Hello Mrs Lindsay, thank you for your review. Please email enquiries@haiths.com and we will investiage this for you.

Works but hard to clean

It does keep the squirrels out (but not pigeons who seem to be evolving ever longer necks!) but the one negative is cleaning.
I had something similar before and the perches were screwed in as pairs, meaning cleaning was a simple "dismantle, thoroughly clean, reassemble". This feeder has "clip in" perches and although they can removed them (carefully unclipping them) I wonder how long this will work before the plastic on the perches or the tube cracks. Without removing the perches, it is hard to get a bottle brush fully into the tube for cleaning.

Hello Paul, thank you for your review. We're pleased to hear that our feeder has successfully kept squirrels at bay! With regards to the perches, we would like to reassure you that they are made from tough, durable plastic, so should be long-lasting.

Mine's still going strong

I have this feeder (the one with the perches, for seed - not the peanut one) and it's worked really well for ages. It does keep the squirrels out (apart from the time I didn't clip it back up properly after filling and they had it on the floor and everything out in next to no time)!

Thank you for your feedback, we're glad to hear that the feeder is working for you.

Sadly Doesn't Work For Me.

"Let's hope this review isn't deleted. Sadly, within 60 seconds of use a squirrel had managed to work off the lid and access from above. I then managed to secure the lid with key ring parts (already rusting in this weather) but even so, after a few days in the garden not one bird has used it- & I have a lot of birds. I really wish it had worked, as I'm plagued with squirrels, but it's been a real waste of money for me."

'Dear ChristineMany thanks for reviewing this product. I'm sorry that you are unhappy with this feeder. If you would like to contact our customer services department on 01472 357515 we can have a look into this for you.Once again please accept my apologies. Many thanks Haith's '
