Our Cockatiel Mix is a thoughtfully blended seed diet designed to support the everyday health and happiness of cockatiels, parakeets, and other medium-sized hookbills.
With a hearty mix of canary, mixed millets, safflower, plus small grains, including linseed, this blend provides energy, variety, and essential nutrients.
We’ve balanced it to avoid excessive fat content while still offering the comfort, crunch and energy birds crave. Whether you’re caring for a single cockatiel or a small flock, this mix supports activity levels, feather conditions, and natural foraging behaviour.

Feeding Guide:
Serve in a clean seed hopper or shallow dish. Refresh daily. Always provide fresh water and consider offering cuttlefish bone for calcium.

How will the recipient receive the gift card?
When you use the “send this as a gift” option, the digital gift card is sent to the recipient email address entered with the order.
Can I choose when it is sent?
Yes. Use the optional “Send on” field above if you would like the digital gift card delivered on a future date.
Where can the gift card be used?
The gift card is for online purchases at Haiths.com. It is not a physical voucher sent through the post.
When does the gift card expire?
Haith’s digital gift cards expire 12 months from the date of purchase.
What if I enter the wrong email address?
Contact Customer Services as soon as possible on 0800 298 7054 or at enquiries@haiths.com, quoting your order details.
What should I do if the gift card does not arrive?

Birds loved the seed, nice and clean. Unfortunately the price has shot up to more than i can afford 😕. 2x20kg bags were £70 have now jumped upto £99.98.

Would recommend haiths for their cockatiel mix it always looks so clean and fresh my cockatiel loves it and I've tried others but she's best with this. Delivery is pretty quick to so no waiting around for days for it.

Quick delivery, fresher and far less dusty than most store bought mixes I've had over the years. The only downside is it's far too heavy with sunflower seeds - even mixed with the Budgie and Aviary mixes I still have to pick quite a few out for my indoor birds on my vets advice, though the aviary ones are able to have a few more especially in colder months as they're flying a lot more :-)

Better than most shop bought mixes, good quality clean seed at a decent price, although perhaps a little high in sunflowers.

I would have given 5* but my cockatiels won’t really eat it! They must be fussy eaters as I’ve seen great previous reviews, however they do pick at it but they prefer the striped sunflower seeds! So I gave half of it to the wild birds :-)

"My 6 cockatiels LOVE this mix! They make sure I know about it if I try to give them something inferior instead. You can see that this mix is excellent quality, beautifully fresh and wholesome, the seeds have a lovely shiny lustre to them and there is never any waste. Some inferior mixes have bits of grit or seed husks in, but this one never does. If you aren't sure if your birds will like it (I know they can be very fussy indeed and its really trial and error before you find a mix they like) then there is a small 500 g pack size that you could try first, but I usually get the large 12.5 or 20 kg sack for my 6 and it keeps very well, probably because it's so fresh. As cockatiels would have a mixed diet in the wild, I tend to offer this only once a day and give greens and other vegetables/fruits in the morning, but I am confident they are getting everything they need in this mix, and their good health is testimony to that!"
