  • Feeder Selection

Choose a variety of feeders to attract different species. Ground feeders like robins prefer open platforms or bird tables. However, also consider hanging tube feeders or window feeders for other garden birds.

  • Safe Placement

Position your feeders in a safe, sheltered location to protect birds from predators and harsh weather. Ensure feeders are visible from the air to attract more birds and easily accessible for refilling and cleaning.

  • Consistent Feeding

Maintain a regular feeding schedule, especially during winter and breeding seasons when birds rely more on supplemental food sources. Early morning and late afternoon are ideal feeding
    times.

  • Regular Cleaning

To prevent the spread of diseases among garden birds, regularly clean your feeders with a mild disinfectant, rinse well, and allow them to dry completely before refilling.

Birds love these

The only downside is that they are too good. Starlings arrive in huge numbers! I’m rationing them to 4 a day.

Hello Val, thank you for your review. That's great news, Fat Robin is one of the most popular softfoods that most garden birds love

Fat Robin.

Actually I am very disappointed with this Fat Robin food. There is a lot of very small stuff that the birds leave and I am having to throw away each day. I don’t know what the small bits are but I know that the birds are not eating it. Now I have 2 kg of Fat Robin which was an expensive mistake. The peanuts and sunflower hearts are excellent.

Hello Gill,
Thank you for your review. We’re sorry to hear that you’re disappointed with our Fat Robin bird mix. This mix is carefully crafted with smaller seeds to make it easier and more enjoyable for smaller birds, like robins, to feed.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused and want to assure you that our team is actively reviewing this matter to ensure our product continues to meet the highest quality standards. Your feedback is greatly appreciated and helps us it improve.
