A bounty of impressive and nutritious seeds and foods - blended together to support basic (staple) seed diets.
A mixture of specially selected tonic seeds which will keep Foreign Finches in good health and in top form for breeding and showing.
Instructions: This food should be fed in addition to their usual bird seed mixture. Ideally, feed in a separate feeding dish daily.

Feeding Instructions: Feed up to 1 ½ level teaspoons per bird/per day or as required, as part of a balanced diet.

David Gill has kept and bred Australian and African finches since the early 1960s and has used Haith's seed since 1968. His Parson Finch won Best in Show (All Breeds) at the National Exhibition in Stafford in October 2025.
I’ve been buying seed from Haith's since 1968. I predominantly use Foreign Finch Tonic Food and consider it the best tonic seed for my birds.

I keep Australian and African Finches. The Parson finch won best in show, all breeds, at the National Exhibition in Stafford in October 2025. I’ve been keeping and breeding Finches since the early '60s, and I have used Haith's seeds pretty much all the time. Predominantly, I use the foreign finch tonic. I don’t think there’s any better tonic seed for these birds. I remember going to the Cleethorpes factory shop, and when I was quite young, the smell was intoxicating.

I always feed Haiths seed to my Gouldian Finches as it is always top quality. Foreign Finch Tonic seed is relished with little waste which makes it more economical than some cheaper products.
