Granulated charcoal is an excellent avian digestive aid, especially for smaller birds such as canaries and parakeets and similar caged birds. It helps to fight hyperacidity and relieve stomach upset.

Please note: Charcoal should be fed sparingly in a treat sized dish . The birds will consume this as and when they need to.

This is another good priced product, again essential for our big Zebra finch family, they consume this with gusto.

"Charcoal is so fine safe for budgie to eat as previous charcoal brand was in grains I always worried as budgies are only small in size. Budgie has it in a finger feeder (bought from Haith's) so he can eat it at will. He doesn't need much of it so bought it in smallest bag Haith's sell."
