Hemp Seed is rich in oil and protein and over 40% of the weight of Hemp Seed is edible oils. Crushed Hemp Seed can be fed on its own or mixed sparingly with soft food. Birds will quickly gain weight when fed on Hemp Seed as it has approximately 560 calories per 100g.

I was disappointed with the hempseed I received as it was not suitable for fishing and not like the last two deliveries I have had off you ,I was unable to get it to split open which is needed for fishing with. The size of it was vastly different to previous purchases which only needed boiling u for 30 mins and it split, this one wont split even after soaking for two days and boiling for hours. I have kept it because I can grind it up and use it as an additive to ground baits

Hello Ian, we are sorry to hear that you are not happy with the hemp seed that you have ordered. We would recommend the large hemp seed for fishing but unfortunately, this is currently unavailable. We're sure grinding up the hemp seed will prove beneficial to your ground baits, as we found when we add this to our SuperRed method mix. Happy fishing!
