The unique honey-based "3 in 1" bait ingredient with genuine Robin Red®
HoneyRed "3 in 1" contains genuine Robin Red and was designed to be used as a ground bait, paste bait or (when ground down to a fine powder) as a complete Make Your Own Boilie base mix. It's therefore one of the most complex and effective carp baits we’ve ever put together. It's high in natural oils, bursting with micro seeds, and is laced with enticing sugars and spices. It is also primed with the wonderful smell and taste of real Baker's Honey.

Oil A: 9.40%,
Crude Protein: 14.6%,
Crude Fibre: 3.3%,
Moisture: 8.7%,
Ash: 3.0%,
Total Oil: 10.64%,
Starch: 41.3%
This bait features the new Robin Red (UK/EU) natural. As a result of this improvement, you will notice a slight colouration change which will be a little less ‘blood red’ in colour and a more natural-looking ‘rust brown’ instead.

As we reflect on the innovations that have shaped modern carp fishing, it's impossible not to highlight Ken Townley's groundbreaking Three-In-One baits.
I don't fish for carp but always use Honey Red as the base groundbait ingredient for all my bream and roach fishing. I find it's versatile enough to make hard or soft balls as required for firing out and comes out of the feeder easily. I find it's effective even in Winter although the textbooks always recommend groundbait with low feed content when the fish aren't very active. Earlier in February, I had 8 tench from what is reputed to be a "hard" local water and have had 4 or 5 in each session since. This has opened up a whole new channel of Winter fishing to explore. I tend not to add the liquid as it appears to attract large perch. Again, something to be explored when time permits.
